Celia is a Registered Social Worker and Accredited Family Mediator, currently in-charge of the psychosocial counselling service at the Centre of Assisted Reproduction and Embryology, the University of Hong Kong – Queen Mary Hospital. She offers psychological assessment and counselling and runs psychotherapeutic groups for individuals and couples who are making decision on fertility and family planning, undergoing assisted reproductive technologies (ART), or experiencing various types of reproductive loss. As commissioned by the Hong Kong Society of Reproductive Medicine, she has been conducting Certificate Course on Infertility Counselling since 2010, offering training for healthcare professionals specialized in ART. Her areas of research and clinical practices include sex and reproductive health, fertility and infertility counselling, donor-assisted conceptions, perinatal bereavement.
