Ovulation induction is to stimulate the development of a single follicle in the ovary. It is indicated in women who have irregular cycles or no periods indicative of anovulation.

Oral fertility drugs such as letrozole or clomiphene will be started first. If there is no ovulation after taking oral fertility drugs, gonadotrophin injection will be given.
