Charging

The patients need to fulfil the selection criteria in order to receive public service. Women still need to pay IVF drug package and laboratory fee for oocyte/embryo freezing. Men still need to pay the laboratory fee for sperm freezing.

We provide up to 40 cycles of sperm freezing and 20 cycles of oocyte/embryo freezing per year in the public fertility preservation service.

Eligibility criteria for women

  • Age <35 years
  • Have fertility wish after cancer treatment
  • Have a high risk of ovarian insufficiency after cancer treatment
  • Survival rate of more than 50% after cancer treatment
  • No prior chemotherapy or pelvic radiotherapy
  • Antral follicle count >7 on pelvic scanning

Eligibility criteria for men

  • Age <35 years
  • Have fertility wish after cancer treatment
  • Have a high risk of testicular failure after cancer treatment
  • Survival rate of more than 50% after cancer treatment
  • No prior chemotherapy or pelvic radiotherapy

* Patients still need to pay the laboratory fee for semen freezing.
