The number of eggs is getting smaller when you become older. No sufficient evidence shows this method will definitely protect your ovaries. The procedure is performed under sedation or anaesthesia. It takes around 10-15 minutes. Most women can be discharged on the same day. After the initial 5 years of storage of eggs and every 2 years thereafter, you are required to receive proper counselling and sign a fresh consent.<\/li>\n<li>Our Centre should be informed in writing if you have changed your address or telephone number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"accordion\">Can I terminate the storage contract?<\/p>\n<div class=\"panel\">Yes, you can inform the Centre anytime if you do not want to continue with the storage of frozen eggs.<\/div>\n<p class=\"accordion\">How much does this service cost?<\/p>\n<div>As a private patient, you will need to pay for consultation, ovarian stimulation, egg collection retrieval, IVF laboratory and egg freezing, which total costs around HK$60,000. Then the egg storage fee is HK$8,000 for every 2 years.<\/div>\n<div class=\"panel\">As a public patient, you still need to pay IVF laboratory and egg freezing. It is around HK$20,000.
